END SARS Poem: Police Brutality - Oliver Sopulu Odo

POLICE BRUTALITY

Last Nation in time

Until that made day becomes sun and dark,

Movement was not just common like later.

Cobblers came looking like missing pocket,

That the owner becomes  afternoon dreamer.

Our  fabric is like those  ones that have two Sense,

Not just that two but two spirit and one body.

Peerlers came with the unforgivable combat,

We were not just treated like dog we have become.

Our mouth becomes  noisy to them that life flees,

Little do we know that our right is wrong to them.

Fact is the  enemy of truth that peerlers proscribe,

That heart we have got not in the peaceful look.

When lion is uncommon in the Forrest,

Rabbit becomes common to antsy Hunter.

Lion has gone to eat hunters’ meat though,

Rabbit has become best meat to the hunter.

Dumb becomes counsellor to deaf, frith mute,

Fire becomes the best water which life mute.

Things didn't just fall apart, like first era in years,

Things have become apart like later in time.
