END SARS Poem: Nigeria Needs A "Reform" - David Jonathan Inyang

NIGERIA NEEDS A "REFORM"

The land is bleeding

The youths are weeping

It was indeed a black Tuesday

The Nigerian flag is bleeding

And the nation has gone into praying

O! Lord, do you not feel our pain?

The deaths of our heroes will not be in vain

The government and Military has failed us

Our rights, we must preserve with fire and force

White hair is not a sign of wisdom

The more reason we all demand for freedom

My eyes grow weak with sorrow

Over the killings, looting and the money they borrow

"The nation is in God's hands says the Vice President

Agencies meant to protect us, have now become our enemy

My bones have grown weak

The youths are ready to take this to the peak

Lord, hear our cry

'cause my soul is dry.
