END SARS Poem: Our Gallants Watchmen - Chisimdi George

OUR GALLANTS WATCH MEN

     Our own watchmen.
     The gallants and trusted
      men.
     Inspectors and generals, our
     watchtowers.
     Rifled to protect, guide we
     the followers .
     For a peaceful and secured
     land.
     Now massacring the same
     people they are securing.

     Necessary to our existence.
     Friends as scripted, lion in
     reality.
     Law enforcement agents.
     Agents of bribery and
     corruption.
      Civilians hope civilians
     massacre.
     Our own security personnel
     what have we done?.

     The Carnage of our youths
     when will it stop.
     Police brutality and toture
     when will it stop.
     The kidnapping of our
     youths.
     The humiliation of our youth
     rape and extrajudicial killing
     when will it stop?.
     By our own security officers.
Bank bank and bank we are
     now to them.

      We call for reforms.
      End police brutality and
      unlawful detention.
     Illegal road blocks  and
     threat to life.
     Proper funding and
     monitoring.
     Do away with men of
     two hands.
     Their psychology in
     questions always.
